Cylinders with lengths of up to 6,000 mm and cutting diameters of up to 450 mm
SCHLENTER has been producing cylinders with lengths of up to 6,000 mm and cutting diameters of up to 450 mm for 150 years. As a result of the high requirements in this area - in particular with regard to vibrations, unbalanced mass, concentricity, and dimensional accuracy - SCHLENTER has gathered a high level of know-how.
Our cylinders are balanced several times to make sure that they reach the required G1 quality grade. With a part piece of 2 ton, this corresponds to a residual imbalance of around 10 grams per section. To attain this tolerance, our cylinders require a concentricity accuracy of 0.01 mm. We can only meet such requirements by making sure that our machine pool always complies with the latest state of technology.
