High-precision grinding and surface grinding
SCHLENTER has been producing ledger blades for the textile industry for 150 years. These blades are produced in lengths of 400 - 5,400 mm, widths of 80 - 160 mm, and thicknesses of 3 - 6 mm. SCHLENTER applies its know-how in this area by also offering contract manufacturing skills in the grinding area.
Our machine pool has three grinding machines with lengths of between 2,400 and 5,500 mm and enables a diverse range of surface grinding tasks.
We also offer heat treatments, including tempering and annealing, to give our parts optimum usability.
Many of our customers use our quick and trouble-free regrinding services. In this area, SCHLENTER offers customers the possibility of having cutting dies or plate cutter blades reground in the quickest, most cost-effective way possible.
